The League of Women Voters of the Bangor Area will host a candidate forum for Hampden Town Council candidates. The forum will be held on Tuesday, January 13 at 6:30 PM in the Hampden Council Chambers. 

This will be an in-person event, with candidates and audience present. The forum will also be available on the Town’s Zoom site and recorded and available on the Town and the LWVME’s website after the event. The public may submit questions before the event at bangor@lwvme.org or through the town office. All questions from the public, whether in person or in advance, must be written and will be read by the moderator.  

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages the informed and active participation of citizens in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. The League does not endorse any political party or candidate for elective office.
